Great café with delicious coffee and vegan alternatives. More like a student. A minus point: unfortunately your staff does not pay particular attention to compliance with the mask requirement inside: I was there twice and my girlfriend 1x extra and the employees never said anything to the people who came in without a mask (mask requirement outside the square at the time). I don't think it's cool if any girls can spit around 10cm next to me, sorry. And it would be a shame if the café was shut down because of something like that from the OA :(

Nope ... uncomfortable, fake, unsympathetic, non-binding. Just like coffee: hip, fruity, undifferentiated, without depth without density. No wifi ("come on, leave a lot of money and please leave quickly"). Prices like in Frankfurt's Westend. None of that can hide the whole beautiful opening.

Very delicious breakfast plate with sausage, cheese and 2 spreads, with homemade vegetables. You can add crispy bacon with scrambled eggs. The pancakes are served with seasonal fruit, but unfortunately they are a bit dry. Phenomenal chai latte with oat milk, the spice mixture for it can be bought directly in the store (250g for 12 €).

Best coffee in pouring! There are alternative milk (oats), which also e.g. The basis for the chai is (recommendation!). The breakfast platter is great for two to share. Pancakes are served with fruit on a vanilla mirror. You can also buy your own chai mix. Very well attended on weekends because the interior space is small, it is advisable to book larger visits.

I love this cafe! The vegan breakfast platter / your cinnamon rolls & the chai latte are my highlight & I always treat myself to one of the three when I'm in pouring!

Cool student cafe with lots of outdoor seating and some cafe variations. Also in vegan form with oat milk. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff very friendly. Definitely recommended for a visit to Giessen. Unfortunately the kitchen is only open until 2 p.m., which is why we couldn't order a sandwich.

Cool shop! Even if you don't belong to the student age group. Delicious cappuccino and super delicious cake. I like coming here, even if everything outside is occupied in summer, you can stay inside in the cooler of the air conditioning. Tip, put on other music. thank you

Best coffee in town. And be sure to try the cinnamon rolls! Alternatively, the pancakes are delicious and both are vegan. The hearty alternative sandwiches are great too, but be careful if you don't like coriander, there's plenty of it.

My favorite café for 4 years: really good coffee, extremely consistent quality at breakfast and super attentive, friendly service! A lot is done right here!

The best coffee specialties in Giessen! A little hint: the "cold cappuccino" should be labeled differently. When I order a cold cappuccino from "Schwätzer und Söhne", I expect exactly that: (an espresso, possibly on ice with frothed milk, so no other ingredients than coffee and milk). Unfortunately, I received a syrup drink (homemade syrup), but I let it go back because I don't drink sugar in my coffee. The note "with syrup" would be helpful here to avoid drinks having to be reduced. Other customers felt the same way. The cake should also be better protected from flies.

Fresh, tasty and varied. We were there for breakfast and were very enthusiastic about the selection. The café is anything but 0815. Everything is just delicious. My little insider tip for hot summer days: Espresso Tonic

A nice time in a nice place. We were having breakfast for two. The service was very friendly and the breakfast, how can I say, super surprising: everything fresh, everything enough and super creative. No standard breakfast with sausage and cheese. There were several "courses" like a sausage plate (fresh from the butcher), a small gourmet salad or a soup. It just tasted wonderful. We would love to come back.

I love this cafe! The atmosphere is great and the coffee tastes great ☕️ The cake menu is always changing, but there is something for every taste. Most of the time the café is very crowded and therefore sometimes a little noisy, but in good weather you can of course sit outside and relax there :)

Nice place and food, worth the slightly high prices. Was fairly busy (weekend breakfast) so food took a little long. Recommended

Actually you do not need much to write, ... It's just pure pleasure for the palate! And even me, as a non-breakfast woman would always take 45min ride for a bag of Schwätzer & sons.

Nice coffee with a small selection of good cakes

We went for brunch, ordered vegan and were extremely spoiled. In two hours, that's the time you have, the kitchen conjured up one culinary delicacy after the other. Everything was very unusual and imaginative. The dishes are brought to the table in small portions so that you can easily feed them one by one. 1+, 👌

Nice place for Breakfast in Gießen. A bit pricey but the coffee was great, very strong :)

Phenomenal coffee, laid back and authentic atmosphere. Lots of power plugs and table space for the traveler with some work to take care of. Before you add sugar or cream, take a sip; you may find it doesn't need any additions.
